Clientele:
Blind and visually impaired people
- Registered clients of CRMM or other rehabilitation centre
servicing clients with visual impairment
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Unemployed people
- People on welfare
- Individuals in need of a career or vocational counselling
- Workers looking for a better job, a promotion or a career
change
- Students searching for a summer job, a part-time job, or a
vocational training place
- Workers and students in need of assistive devices,
accommodations, or professional support at work
Services offered:
- Employment and academic resource information referrals
- Vocational goal identification and consultation
- Professional career counselling
- Assistance with resume preparation
- Job search training and assistance in completing forms
- On site evaluations for adaptations, assistive technology and
accommodations
